How long will the series be?

I'm asked this question all the time now and I honestly don't know yet.  Originally, it was going to be three books. However, I fell in love with some of the secondary characters and the world I built.  Readers send me requests for future books and I'm inclined to write them :)

Saving the Sheikh -- will be out by November, 2012 (Zhang and her Sheikh)

Now that I'm writing full-time takes me 3-4 months to get the book from outline to publication.  So, that would have my next book out by March, 2013.

Who are the highest requested characters to have their own romance?

Jeff (Nicole's driver) -- he's going to need someone special.  I've considered Alethea.  Maybe it would take someone like him to unravel why she needs that rush of adrenaline all the time.

Aaron -- he gets love from readers for taking care of his mom.  He needs time to grow up a little, though. Maybe his job at Corisi Enterprises will do just that.

Jeremy (the basement computer hacker) -- don't you just want him to wake up and realize that Alethea is not the perfect woman for him?

Alethea (Lil's best friend and security tester)-- Would Jeff be a strong enough man for her?  Would she go for Dominic's head of security?  I haven't decided.

Rosella and Thomas (Dominic's mother and their family's lawyer)-- this book will likely be the last in the series.  Some may be added before it, but Rosella's story takes the reader back to the beginning and explains so much -- and it would also reveal scenes throughout the series that readers missed because they didn't necessarily belong in someone else's love story.

Most asked questions that I won't answer. You'll have to read it in an upcoming book.....lol

What is in the box that Dominic refuses to open?

Why did Rosella really leave her husband?

Who is going to get pregnant first?

I love receiving emails from readers and your thoughts do shape where the stories go.  Thank you for writing to me, for sharing what you loved and what you wanted more of, and for enjoying the ride with me.

  1. I think I had some of those questions! I hope you have many more additions to this series, because all of us are enjoying them so much! My vote has always been on Jeff! Love his dry wit and psychology degree. Aaron and Jeremy are right there behind him though, so I'm all for a LONG series! And you already have the perfect ending story figured out for your Legacy Series! Write on, Ruthie!

  2. I consider myself your biggest fan. I'm so anxious to find out what's gonna happened to all. Jeff and Alethea for sure will make a great couple -free therapy for the mind, the body and the soul, but specially the body. I visualize Aaron as the new bachelor taking Jake's place -that kind of sexy bachelor. And Jeremy, well he needs a strong woman who can take him out of his basement and out of the open taking advantage of his new bachelor training -from Jake and Dom. Keep them coming. -Zeide

  3. After finishing the 3rd book I thought that Jeremy and his image consultant was a possible romance. Her secretly loving his geeky ways while he tries to change himself for another woman never realising the person he should/ wants to be with has been there all along. Just an idea :) loving the series and looking forward to book 4. Hope there's some more stuff on alethea and/or Aaron - really Liked the secondary characters in book 3 :)
