I don't know why I'm so excited (maybe I like milestone numbers), but I just reached 100 reviews on Amazon.com (and the book is still a 4+)
I am dancing tonight with glee. Every little step of this journey makes it feel more real and is worth celebrating. After beginning to think that my book would never be read by anyone outside of my family and a handfull of editors...it's out there being read.
What is more incredible for any writer than knowing that your story is being read and enjoyed? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Ok, my first royalty check will be pretty amazing, too. But for now it's enough just knowing that I can write the type of story I've always enjoyed reading.
